Principal V. K. Kale, as he was respectfully known, was a role model for all around him, students, teachers and others alike. His teaching career spanned over 3 decades in which he directed the school with principles and vision. And even after his retirement he was a strong motivating force for the school. His quiet but studied approach to life was inspiration to many of his students and followers. And his sympathetic and helping nature gave assurance and strength to all who needed help. He helped many without letting them know who is behind that helping hand. He, forever, changed the many lives with his generosity and thoughtful care, and among these are two of the founding trustees.

This scholarship honors his exceptional life and outstanding work and is provided by his son, Dr. Sharad Kale and Principal Kale's grateful students.
